2026 Dichroic By Design Contest
Celebrating 30 Years of Creativity! Coatings By Sandberg, Inc. is excited to sponsor our 21st Annual Contest featuring the use of dichroic glass in artistic or functional creations. Submit photographs of your work for a chance to be featured on our website, where audiences worldwide can discover the remarkable pieces our talented customers create using our premium dichroic glass coatings.
Prizes
- 1st place winner will receive a $500 gift certificate towards CBS Dichroic glass.
- 2nd place winner will receive a $300 gift certificate towards CBS Dichroic glass.
- 3rd place winner will receive a $200 gift certificate towards CBS Dichroic glass.
- Honorable mention winners will receive a $100 gift certificate towards CBS Dichroic glass.
Contest Rules
All artwork must contain at least 25% CBS Dichroic glass.
Maximum three entries total per artist! Maximum three photos for each entry!
All entries must be submitted in the following format:
- Digital format, high quality 300 dpi resolution
- Up to 5 x 7 in size
- No MAC format, only PC is accepted
- .png, jpg, tif, pdf only
Deadline to submit artwork: November 20, 2026
Winners announced: December 18, 2026
Entries must be accompanied by:
- Title and description of artwork
- Type of glass used, including COE 90, 96, Borosilicate, Moretti, Float, Extract, etc.
- Artist full name
- Artist mailing address
- Artist telephone number & email address

The judges of the contest are a panel of well-known glass artists who come from all areas of the industry. CBS, Inc. will make all final decisions.
All pictures of artwork become the property of CBS and will not be returned. Photographs will be used on the CBS website and for possible future marketing and/or sales purposes.
